Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a district-wide Occupational Therapist in a supportive and collaborative educational setting. This contract opportunity serves students across multiple schools, providing essential services to help young learners achieve their greatest potential.

You will work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) throughout the academic year, from late August through mid-June, collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver high-quality, student-centered occupational therapy. Your expertise will benefit students in grades K-12 across four engaging school buildings.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Current Occupational Therapist license and Vermont OT certificate required
Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting desirable
Strong ability to manage a district-wide caseload
Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Commitment to individualized and evidence-based interventions

Key Responsibilities:

Travel between school buildings to assess and provide direct therapy for students with diverse needs
Develop, implement, and regularly update IEP goals and interventions
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
Consult with teachers and staff, recommending adaptive strategies and supports
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
