Job Description

Job Description Build precision. Protect traceability. Power production.

Picture this: a new job order drops. You review the traveler, reserve floor space for deliveries, confirm freezer status in Epicor, and cue the CNC to cut a flawless kit. Where time is tight, you hand-cut, label, and record every detail—then notify the lay-up cell about approaching cure dates. TATS dashboards show every lot accounted for. By shift end, preventive maintenance is complete and the cell is spotless. That’s the impact you’ll make—night after night.

Team and Shift

Reports to the Production Cell Leader – Lay-up/Kitting. This is a third-shift position with occasional overtime, including potential coverage on other shifts and weekends.

Your Core Mission

  • Process travelers, label materials, and complete precise entries in Epicor and Excel.
  • Perform hand-cutting when required to meet quality or timing needs.
  • Plan and stage physical space to receive deliveries efficiently.
  • Earn and maintain autoclave operation certification to provide secondary coverage.
  • Check daily material and adhesives inventory; coordinate with Purchasing for replenishment.
  • Partner with the Cell Leader to schedule cutting-machine work.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to configure and validate new cutting programs and kits.
  • Drive 100% lot traceability for TATS materials; manage freezer inventory via Epicor.
  • Verify expiration/cure dates and communicate short lead times to the lay-up cell.
  • Use TATS trackers and dashboards to guarantee availability and compliance.

Standards You Uphold

  • Work safely to achieve zero-incident performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized cell; perform preventive maintenance and daily cleanup per procedure.
  • Submit complete, on-time paperwork and system updates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement; escalate concerns quickly and appropriately.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules; perform other tasks as assigned.

What Sets You Up for Success

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing experience; familiarity with measuring/cutting tools and inventory control preferred.
  • Competence with computers and relevant software to set up programs, enter data, and produce reports (Epicor/Excel experience valued).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic math proficiency; able to read a ruler and tape measure.
  • Professional, courteous verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written and oral technical instructions.

  • Team-oriented collaborator who can also operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to employment, job-specific, environmental, health, safety, and quality policies.

Physical Requirements
