Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Mental Health Therapist
Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to become part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This role involves delivering exceptional outpatient behavioral health care to individuals and families throughout Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide client-focused, evidence-based therapy to patients of all ages, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and relationship difficulties.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans.
- Offer ongoing individual, family, and, when suitable, group therapy in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain a manageable caseload and ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care providers, and other behavioral health specialists.
- Perform risk assessments and assist with crisis intervention and safety planning as necessary.
- Coordinate care to guarantee continuity and quality of services for each patient.
- Utilize electronic health records to document progress notes, treatment plans, and clinical summaries in line with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications
- A master’s degree in a mental health-related field.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or Psychologist).

- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and comfort in working with diverse populations.
