Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessment and report writing, especially at the elementary level
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and experience attending IEP meetings
- Strong communication skills for consultation with educators, families, and intervention teams
- Familiarity with data-driven decision making and best practices in school psychology
- Ability to manage timelines and prioritize in a school-based setting
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a variety of psychological and educational assessments for elementary students
- Prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports with clear recommendations
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, conveying findings and supporting collaborative planning
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to promote optimal student outcomes
- Develop intervention strategies that address learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Support crisis intervention and data-based decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
