Job Description

Quality Mechanical Inspector 1

· $20-30/Hour to start

· Merrimack, NH

· Monday – Friday

· First Shift – 7am – 3pm

Duties:

· Perform dimensional and visual inspections of products using a CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers and other measurement tools to accurately document inspection results per inspection procedures

· Write basic CMM programs to measure parts for FAI’s, CPK’s, PQ’s, OQ’s and IQ’s

· Perform basic FAI’s and Gage R&R inspections PQ, OQ and IQ inspections

· Possess Knowledge of standardized CMM fixturing based on part geometry

· Interpret ballooned customer drawings, with basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance

· Must maintain an accurate library of programs and written setup instructions for all CMM an OGP programs

Requirements:

CMM IS NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software

· Accurately read and understand blueprints, inspection reports and quality documentation relating to material or

· products

· Must have basic CMM programming experience required with knowledge of Hexagon PCDMIS

· Must have experience with optical comparators, tool mics, pin gages, etc.

· Must have basic understanding of GD&T measurements

· Minimum 1 year experience as a mechanical inspection

· Minimum 1 year CMM experience

· Create basic programs on CMM and OGP

· Basic knowledge of GD&T

· Excellent presentation and reporting skills

· Experience in QMS/Regulator
