The Opportunity
A&M is looking to add full-time Survey Instrument Operator positions to our Woburn team. Successful candidates will work on multi-person field crews and, at times, independently, conducting a variety of public and private land surveying projects.
What You’ll Do
· Perform Property Line/Existing Conditions, As-Built, ALTA/NSPS, construction support, and research work.
· Set up and operate robotic and manual total stations, data collectors, differential levels, and GPS/RTK equipment.
· Complete basic survey tasks supporting daily field crew operations.
· Collect quality field data efficiently and prepare clear survey notes and sketches when needed.
· Assist with survey equipment and company vehicle maintenance.
· Provide feedback and assistance to office personnel to support efficient project completion.
· Represent A&M positively with clients and the public.
· Contribute to a team and support a positive field environment.
What We’re Looking For
· Experience with total stations, data collectors, levels, and GPS/RTK equipment.
· Ability to work both as part of a crew and independently.
· Strong attention to quality and detail.
· Willingness to learn and contribute to a team.
· Ability to work outdoors and start workdays early.
· Overnight travel experience or willingness to travel occasionally is a plus.
