Job DescriptionRole Overview:Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor for a temporary travel assignment in Littleton, NH. The supervisor will oversee daily central service operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage case-cart systems, and maintain extensive oversight of surgical instrumentation processing.
Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope:
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily sterile processing departmental operations, workflow, and surgical case-cart system management.
- Instrumentation & Technical Operations: Maintain technical oversight of complex surgical instrumentation and automated processing equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with AAMI, AORN, OSHA, FDA, CDC, and state/federal regulatory guidelines.
- Systems Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and specialized hospital information systems for inventory and operational tracking.
Qualifications & Candidate Requirements:
- Education & Certifications:
- Graduation from an approved Central Service / Sterile Processing Technology program [REQUIRED].
- Active National or International Sterile Processing Certification [REQUIRED].
- Management-Level Sterile Processing Certification [REQUIRED].
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Sterile Processing experience AND 3 years of supervisory/management experience [REQUIRED]. (No first-time travelers).
- Travel & Distance Restrictions: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility [REQUIRED].
- Time-Off Policy: Requested Time Off (RTO) cannot exceed 3 days total during the assignment contract [REQUIRED].
Schedule & On-Call Structure:
- Shift Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week).
- Weekend Requirements: As needed.
- On-Call Requirements: None.
