Make an immediate impact assisting K-12 students as an experienced paraprofessional in a behavioral setting with this contract position! This opportunity offers the chance to support diverse learners in an educational environment, providing both academic and behavioral assistance to help students reach their fullest potential. Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Demonstrated experience working within behavioral settings, especially with children
- Paraprofessional credentials/certifications as required
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility in adapting to classroom needs across grade levels K-12
- Ability to implement teacher-directed instructional and behavioral strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering academic and behavioral support to students
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, ensuring engagement and comprehension
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans as directed
- Supervise students in the classroom and during transitions throughout the school day
- Foster an inclusive and safe learning environment
- Monitor progress, track behaviors, and report observations to staff as needed
This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through June 2027, providing reliable, long-term stability for those passionate about education and making a difference.
