Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / LPN
Location: Peterborough, NH
Facility: Monadnock Community Hospital – Orthopaedics Office
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Openings: 1
Pay: Up to $22/hour
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for exams/treatments.
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, and basic lab tests.
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms.
- Handle patient calls and provide instructions as directed.
- Maintain medical records, referrals, lab slips, and other documentation.
- Assist patients with mobility and during procedures.
- Support nursing duties within the scope of certification.
- Work effectively as part of the clinical team.
Requirements
- CMA certification required; LPNs are also accepted.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Medical Assistant experience.
- Formal Medical Assistant training/curriculum required.
- Active CMA certification must be maintained.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Local candidates preferred
