Location: Sidney, Iowa

Compensation: $26.11–$27.84/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 30 hours/week

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Sidney, Iowa. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend rotation, providing an excellent balance between a rewarding clinical career and personal time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

  • Assist patients with improving independence in activities of daily living and functional tasks

  • Lead therapeutic activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and functional performance

  • Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising OT and care team

  • Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging treatment environment

  • Follow all applicable clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Appropriate Iowa licensure or eligibility for licensure

  • New graduates are welcome to apply
