Make an impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school-based setting. In this contract role, you'll have the chance to contribute meaningfully to student development while growing your abilities in a supportive educational environment.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification for the state of Massachusetts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and adolescents
  • Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to follow speech-language treatment plans as designed by a certified SLP
  • Flexibility, organization, and a positive, collaborative approach to working with educators and families

Your daily responsibilities:

  • Carry out student treatment sessions as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring for IEP goals
  • Prepare materials for therapy sessions and contribute creative ideas to support student engagement
  • Support teachers and staff by providing strategies and recommendations for classroom communication needs
  • Communicate with caregivers and other stakeholders, always advocating for student success
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development, and trainings as required
