Preschool Lead Teacher - EEC Certified
The Learning Experience - Foxboro, MA
Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience - Foxboro is looking for an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who is excited to create a classroom filled with curiosity, creativity, confidence, and meaningful learning.
You'll take ownership of your classroom while helping preschoolers strengthen the academic, social, and emotional skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive peer relationships
- Use positive guidance and consistent classroom routines
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher
- Professional Preschool or early childhood classroom experience required
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for helping young children learn and develop
