Weekly pay: $2,612 per week to $2,677 per week
Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly (as applicable to this assignment)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts, three per week
Setting: Hospital travel assignment with float responsibilities to MS Tele floors as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients, including monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered; manage IV infusions and respond to medication-related changes in patient status.
- Assess, document, and communicate patient conditions; escalate concerns to the charge nurse or attending physician as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record; participate in care planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
- Float to MS Tele floors and overflow areas as assigned, following unit protocols and ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.
- Adhere to infection control practices, patient privacy guidelines, and hospital policies; assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (unrestricted) for practice
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam and associated ECG/Telemetry tests during onboarding (pass threshold 85%, one attempt)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital setting with weekend and holiday coverage
- Capacity to float to like units and overflow areas as needed
