Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter, where you will play a vital role in constructing modular housing components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both factory production and on-site assembly, ensuring the creation of durable and precise homes. This role will be in the same location each week. The shift is Mon - Thurs and they're 10 hour days. Starting pay rate will be $20 - $30 depending on skill level. We are located in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks in both controlled factory settings and residential job sites.
- Frame and assemble wall, floor, and roof components using standardized methods.
- Assist in the installation of doors, windows, subfloors, sheathing, and other structural elements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure assemblies are accurate and ready for follow-on trades.
- Interpret shop and construction drawings for accurate builds and installations.
- Operate saws, nailers, routers, and other woodworking tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company standards.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to all safety procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in finish carpentry and framing techniques.
- Experience in commercial construction.
- Ability to interpret construction and shop drawings.
- Skill in operating woodworking tools such as saws, nailers, and routers.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with modular housing construction is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
