Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and tailor suitable therapeutic approaches.

  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma experiences while building resilience.

  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to establish an integrated care model that promotes comprehensive support for clients.

  • Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and heard.
  • \n

  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of the recovery process.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Engage in team consultations and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care and current best practices.

  • Stay informed about the latest research and advances in trauma therapy methodologies to provide optimal care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients who have faced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. Our focus is on helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys, develop coping strategies, and ultimately achieve a better quality of life. As part of a community-focused practice, your efforts will contribute profoundly to the mental health and well-being of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications\n

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
  • \n

  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.
  • \n

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

  • Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

  • Capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
