Machinist
Location: Southbridge, MA
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and production standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC machines.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and compensations.
- Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Use measurement tools, tooling, and gages to inspect parts.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
- Work with lathes, mills, drills, punch presses, deburring equipment, and other machinery.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
- Work independently to machine parts from print to finished product.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of machining experience; 3+ years preferred.
- CNC setup and operation experience.
- Experience with tool changes, offsets, and compensations.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience using precision measurement tools and gages.
- Swiss and/or Mazak experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of GD&T and machine shop mathematics is preferred.
- Technical/vocational training or machining certifications are a plus.
