Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the 2026-27 school year. Collaborate with a dedicated educational team and empower young learners to reach their potential in a positive, supportive environment. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 18, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 34 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Current or eligible Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
Active or eligible Massachusetts Board of Allied Health license
Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellows are also welcomed and encouraged to apply
Experience or a strong interest in working with elementary age students
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues
Organizational skills and a passion for fostering communication skills in children

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate documentation
Develop individualized educational plans and measurable goals in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
Offer consultation and support to teachers and families
Participate in team meetings, contribute to progress reporting, and facilitate student growth
