Registered Nurse, RN $2000 Sign on Bonus
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Middleborough, Massachusetts. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents in a subacute unit setting. This is a PART_TIME opportunity that requires a strong sense of accountability, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders

Transcribe, document, and implement physician's orders

Collect data to assist in nursing assessments during each shift

Give daily shift report to CNAs and review written daily assignments for each resident

Collaborate with Care Plan Coordinator to develop and maintain nursing care plans

Attend and participate in interdisciplinary resident care conferences as requested
-
Assist attending physicians with rounds and special procedures as needed

Participate in staff development and training for new nursing personnel

Collaborate with nursing supervisor in documenting disciplinary concerns for nursing assistants

Notify nursing supervisor, resident's physician, and family of changes in the resident's condition or accidents/incidents
Requirements:

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts

Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred

CPR certified

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions

Ability to work hours as scheduled and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
-
Physical demands include frequent bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders
-
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Must have the ability to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
