A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available in Berlin, NH, offering a vital role supporting multiple inpatient areas including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Departments. This travel pharmacist position requires strong hospital pharmacy experience and the ability to work independently, especially during rotating weekend shifts, making it an excellent fit for candidates looking to apply their clinical expertise in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Location:
- Berlin, NH
- Travel position with support for NH temp/fast pharmacy licensure
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Rotating weekends every third weekend: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and review medications for hospitalized patients in ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED units
- Provide clinical pharmaceutical care independently on weekends
- Utilize Meditech pharmacy system for order verification and medication management
- Operate Omnicell medication dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience
- Confidence and capability to work autonomously, particularly on weekends
- Proficiency with Meditech preferred; familiarity with Omnicell is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and excellent clinical judgment in inpatient settings
