Step into a rewarding full-time contract position as a Special Education Teacher serving as a Case Manager for middle school students. Based on-site, this opportunity focuses on supporting 8th grade students with diverse learning needs, including those with Autism and ADHD. Caseloads are thoughtfully divided among dedicated professionals, allowing you to collaborate and make a significant impact in the lives of approximately 20-30 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education (SpEd) License with a 1900 Teaching Endorsement preferred.
  • Candidates with relevant coursework eligible for a Board-approved letter of eligibility will also be considered.
  • Solid background in special education, particularly with students in grades 4–8.
  • Experience serving students with a range of learning disabilities, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
  • Strong case management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with paraeducators and an established SpEd team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate individualized education programs (IEPs) for a dedicated group of 8th grade students.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adapt instruction to meet each learner’s unique needs.
  • Communicate regularly with families, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure consistency and student success.
  • Facilitate IEP meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to paraeducators supporting your student caseload.
