Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1B NICU/Continuing Care Nursery position requiring 2 years of Level 1B or higher NICU experience and an active Massachusetts RN license.

- Work in a Level 1B NICU/Continuing Care Nursery providing specialized care for late preterm babies (35 weeks and beyond) and those with health issues
- 4-bed unit with a 3:1 patient ratio
- Unit equipped with cardiopulmonary monitors, LED phototherapy lights, radiant warming units, resuscitation and stabilization care centers, IV infusion pumps, and isolettes
- Provides donor milk and oxygen therapy services
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be in hand at time of profile submission
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current NICU experience at a Level 1B or higher facility required
- Experience with ESC (Eat, Sleep, Console) babies exposed to opioids in utero required
- Experience with TTN (Transient Tachypnea) infants with mild breathing problems required
- Experience with blood sugar stabilization required
- Experience with infants needing respiratory support required
- Experience with High Flow Nasal Cannula (NC) required
- Skills checklist for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/NICU current within 1 year required for consideration
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required for consideration

- Provide specialized nursing care to late preterm and medically fragile newborns in a continuing care nursery setting
- Candidates must have their own vehicle for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Block scheduling requests will not be considered
