Job Description
Are you a mechanic? Do you have knowledge and working experience with electricity? Are you a current technician and looking for more? FM Generator is looking for a full-time clean, organized Emergency Generator Technician in Boston or Middlesex county. This position requires an individual who can think on their own and is good with customers and customer service.

FM Generator will supply you with a truck, phone, gas card, credit card, laptop.
\n
\n
Duties & Responsibilities:
\n
· Follow all safety rules
\n
· Well versed in maintenance, safety principles, lockout/tag out procedures
\n
· Use of personal protective equipment usage
\n
· Can perform routine maintenance on generators and transfer switches
\n
· Keep truck supplied with needed equipment
\n
· Paperwork completed at the end of each service call
\n
· Must be able to lift, push/pull, carry and maneuver heavy items
\n
· Maintain own tool inventory adequate to complete assigned repairs
\n
· Communicate with customers and office staff
\n
· Ability to identify potential problems ahead of time and be proactive implementing solutions
\n
· Respond to emergency service calls as needed
\n
· Computer Literacy
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
· Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
\n
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
\n
· Experience in mechanical skills
\n
· Experience with Load Bank
\n
· Must be self-accountable, detail oriented and thorough.
\n
\n
