Job Title: Systems Engineer Test Technician Lead
Location: Acton, MA
Duration: 06 months contract
Pay rate: $30/hr on W2
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer Test Technician Lead to support R&D and medical device development activities. The role involves managing laboratory materials and equipment, building test fixtures, preparing test environments, executing manual and automated V&V testing, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and maintaining lab equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate test equipment, materials, and schedules across engineering projects.
- Build and set up test fixtures and laboratory equipment.
- Execute manual/automated tests and document results and issues.
- Support troubleshooting, TMV, MSA, and Gage R&R activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety/5S practices.
- Prepare technical reports and support R&D project activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED with 5+ years of laboratory/R&D experience, or equivalent higher education.
- 3+ years of Microsoft Office and technical writing experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Preferred: Associate degree in engineering/technical field; Python or scripting; Git/Bitbucket; Jenkins/Bamboo; CAD/SolidWorks; 3D printing; Android/iOS; MSA/Gage R and medical device/FDA/ISO experience.
