What you’ll do

• Own setup and operation of CNC cutter grinding machines to meet precise specifications.
• Translate blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders into clear machining plans.
• Watch the process closely; make smart adjustments to keep quality consistent.
• Keep equipment at its best with routine cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
• Verify part quality using micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges.
• Work side-by-side with teammates to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Champion safety practices and maintain an orderly, clean work environment.

What makes you successful here

• HS diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification helpful.
• Demonstrated experience as a CNC machinist on cutter grinding equipment.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, technical docs, and work instructions.
• Hands-on skill with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Meticulous, quality-focused approach to every task.
• Strong team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced shop.
• Proactive problem-solver who stays ahead of challenges.
