At Ballin Law, we are building a powerhouse trial firm to be truly proud of. Our firm has been here for 45 years, because we treat every client's case the way we would want to be treated so that we ensure we will be here for another 45 years.
We are growing quickly having 4x our new case volume in the last two years. We are trial focused and looking to add to our successful trial team. You'll manage your own caseload from inception through filing and trial, with full authority to make case-strategy decisions, backed by dedicated paralegal support and a firm that's investing seriously in building out its litigation bench.
Since 1981, Ballin Law has represented injured clients and their families throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with a long-standing focus on first responders, law enforcement officers, and working families. Our litigation docket is active and growing, and we need an attorney who can help us keep pace with it.
What We're Looking For
- Active Massachusetts or Rhode Island law license, in good standing.
- 5+ years of personal injury or civil litigation experience, with demonstrated independent case ownership.
- A track record of moving files efficiently: meeting deadlines, driving discovery forward, and not letting cases stall.
- Sound judgment evaluating liability, damages, coverage, and settlement value.
- Strong organizational systems and follow-through. We're looking for someone who brings structure and discipline to a docket, not just legal skill.
- Trial experience or a clear, demonstrated interest in developing into a lead trial attorney.
- Comfort working as a true peer alongside another litigation attorney, with mutual accountability rather than a hierarchy.
