Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with emotional disturbance (ED) populations preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to middle-grade students in an ED classroom
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Implement IEP goals, track student progress, and participate in the IEP process
- Foster a safe, encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and social growth
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to best address student needs
- Employ strategies to manage behaviors and provide social-emotional support
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive student records and documentation
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
