Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role located in Quincy, MA. The LPN will provide direct patient care in a pediatric setting, including obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, performing basic clinical procedures, and assisting with examinations. Daily responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, supporting providers during visits, triaging patient and caregiver phone calls, and accurately documenting care in the electronic health record. The role also involves patient and family education on health promotion, treatment plans, and follow-up care, as well as coordinating referrals and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the day. The LPN will collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff to maintain a safe, efficient, and child-friendly clinical environment.\n
Qualifications

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Massachusetts and graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including comfort working with infants, children, adolescents, and their families.
- Clinical skills in basic nursing procedures such as vital signs, medication administration, vaccinations, and specimen collection.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, accurate documentation, and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain medical information clearly and empathetically to children and caregivers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively in a busy clinical setting, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection control practices, confidentiality, and adherence to pediatric care guidelines.
- CPR/BLS certification required; prior experience in an outpatient pediatric or family practice setting is preferred.
