A school district near Keene, NH, is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as an Elementary School Adjustment Counselor for the upcoming school year, covering all elementary campuses within the district. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary educational teams and foster a positive impact for students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive and rehabilitative counseling services tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive school environments
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to help students better access curriculum and school life
  • Serve as a crucial resource for social-emotional and behavioral support in multiple elementary schools
  • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold best practices and confidentiality standards
  • Advocate for student success, ensuring equitable access to resources and school opportunities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
  • Experience working as a School Counselor, School Psychologist, School Social Worker, or Mental Health clinician within a school setting
  • Holds or is eligible for NH certification in: School Counselor (NH 0040); School Psychologist (NH 0046); Associate School Psychologist (NH 0047); or School Social Worker (NH 0049)
  • Demonstrated strengths in collaboration, communication, and supporting students with diverse needs
  • Capable of splitting time effectively among several schools within the district

This is a full-time contract position (35 hours/week), running from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
