We’re looking for a driven Construction Estimator to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial interior projects. You’ll focus on drywall, framing, acoustical systems, and interior finishes, working on impactful projects across the Boston area.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for commercial interior projects
- Review drawings, specs, and project documents to develop competitive, winning bids
- Partner with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the bid process
- Gather and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure best value
- Support bid reviews, scope alignment, and project handoff to operations
- Assist with change orders, project documentation, and cost tracking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Stay ahead of market trends, pricing shifts, and project risks
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of construction estimating experience (interiors preferred)
- Experience with drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, or interior finishes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating tools (On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, PlanSwift, or similar)
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Commercial interior project experience
- OSHA certification
- Experience working in union environments
