Job DescriptionPosition Details

• Location: Randolph, VT
• Starting Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Shift Details: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Core Hours)
• Monday - Friday
• OT as needed
• Full Time / Direct Hire

Foundry Operator Duties Include

• Process quality cast iron parts used in the manufacture of fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products
• Minimize defective parts through proper cleaning, identification, inspection, and repair of cosmetic flaws
• Perform quality and safety checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Follow written and picture-based work instructions
• Accurately track production counts and work-in-process materials

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic reading & math skills
• Ability to follow written & visual work instructions
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Attention to detail and focus on safety & quality

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating material handling equipment such as: Bobcat, forklift, yard truck, and sweeper
• Experience operating overhead cranes and hoists to move heavy materials
• Ability to safely move materials weighing 2 – 10 tons; including molten metal and furnace equipment
