Take your education support experience to the next level in a contract role assisting students with individualized needs. Multiple full-time opportunities are available for dedicated paraprofessionals, starting as soon as possible and extending through the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are open to support: a first grader in a 1:1 setting, a seventh grader in a 1:1 setting, and a small high school group.
Preferred candidates will have previous experience within a school environment and a commitment to helping students thrive academically and personally. Your compassion and adaptability will be valued as you make a daily difference.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in a school-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
- Organized, patient, and flexible in dynamic classroom settings
- Readiness to support students with varied academic and social-emotional needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized support for assigned students
- Assist the classroom teacher with lesson implementation and behavior management
- Support students’ academic engagement, social interaction, and skill development
- Prepare and adapt instructional materials as needed
- Monitor student progress and communicate updates to teaching staff and families
