Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg

\n Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital | St. Johnsbury, VT | 13 Weeks | Nights | 36 hrs/week

\n Looking for an experienced Med/Surg RN for a travel assignment in Vermont’s beautiful Northeast Kingdom. This is primarily an adult Med/Surg position with occasional pediatric patients, offering a great opportunity to work in a community critical-access hospital while enjoying Vermont’s outdoor lifestyle.

\n Position Highlights:

\n Start: September 16, 2026
\n Duration: 13 weeks
\n Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
\n Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
\n Hours: 36 hrs/week
\n Weekend: Every other weekend
\n Holiday: Required
\n Call: No Call
\n EMR: Meditech
\n Patient Population: Primarily adults with occasional pediatric patients
\n Setting: General Med/Surg unit
\n Contract Type: Travel
\n Reliable personal transportation required
\n Housing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; local housing resources may be available

\n Requirements:

\n ✔ Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
\n ✔ Strong Med/Surg experience
\n ✔ Adult Med/Surg experience required
\n ✔ Must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients
\n ✔ ACLS – Required
\n ✔ BLS – AHA – Required
\n ✔ Current Vermont RN or multi-state compact RN license
\n ✔ Meditech experience preferred
\n ✔ Must be able to work every other weekend
\n ✔ Flu vaccination required – no exceptions

\n Important: This is NOT a pediatric floor. Pediatric patients may occasionally be assigned to the unit, so pediatric-only RNs should not be submitted.
