Regular work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts based on patient needs.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough assessments to identify the individualized needs and treatment goals of clients seeking help for substance use disorders.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery.
- Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions through techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
- Lead group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive space for participants to share experiences and foster recovery together.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in situations involving substance-related emergencies.
- Educate both patients and their families about addiction dynamics, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation following legal and ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
- Comprehensive understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care principles.
- Experience in providing both individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adopting a non-judgmental, empathetic approach in all interactions.
- Strong ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring client confidentiality.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
