Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacy Manager/Director in a hospital setting located in Boston, MA. This contract role begins ASAP and has an expected duration of 3+ months, focusing on inpatient pharmacy management and staffing oversight if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Manage daily pharmacy workflows, inventory control, and medication distribution
- Supervise and provide leadership to pharmacy staff, including staffing adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care and patient safety
- Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts pharmacy license
- Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills managing inpatient pharmacy services
- Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain operational efficiency
