Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Days/Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Med/Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in St Johnsbury, VT.

Contract Details

• Flex Shift Day/Night rotation; 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

• Vaccine Requirement: Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions.
  

** Travel nurses are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations. While NVRH does not provide housing, our team is happy to share local housing resources and recommendations to assist with your search.

** All required credentials must be uploaded at least five business days prior to the start date to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

** **Travelers will start on Wednesdays

**During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48 hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start

This is primarily an adult medical/surgical unit. Occasional pediatric patients may be admitted; this is not a dedicated pediatric unit. Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered. Due to our rural location, personal transportation is necessary. No public transportation is available, and the nearest major airport is approximately two hours away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care while working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team
  
• care for a wide variety of patients and practice at the top of your license in an environment that values your clinical expertise and decision-making skills
  
• assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while meeting the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients across the lifespan
  
• Primarily adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients
  
• collaborate closely with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
  
• Charge RN experience preferred. opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed; May be asked to act as a Preceptor
  
• Must have current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License
  
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
  
• Meditech experience preferred
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
  
• Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
