We are seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager with proven leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant with a respected brand and strong customer-service standards. This restaurant concept is focused on exceptional food, warm hospitality, and consistent execution. Responsibilities

· Lead opening, closing, and busy service shifts with a visible floor presence.

· Ensure attentive service and regular guest check-ins; resolve concerns promptly and professionally.

· Train, coach, and hold employees accountable to clear standards.

· Support scheduling, shift coverage, hiring, and onboarding.

· Execute opening and closing checklists, cash controls, and food-safety procedures.

· Coordinate front-of-house and pit/kitchen teams to maintain food quality and service flow.

· Monitor labor, waste, and operating performance; support Restaurant365 reporting.

· Improve SOPs and develop staff into dependable shift leaders.

Qualifications

· Proven management experience in a high-volume restaurant with a reputable brand.

· Demonstrated success leading busy shifts and delivering strong hospitality.

· A hands-on coaching style that builds trust and maintains accountability.

· Strong judgment, organization, communication, and follow-through.

· Availability for nights, weekends, and opening and closing shifts.

· Restaurant365 experience is a plus; barbecue experience is helpful.
