Embrace a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position spans August 2026 through June 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. You’ll work between 32 and 37.5 hours each week, engaging with a high school caseload and making a meaningful difference for every student you serve.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Special Education (state credentials for New Hampshire preferred)
- Previous experience working with high school students in a Special Education setting
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside educational teams, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Adaptability and a compassionate approach to supporting diverse learning needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide differentiated instruction and support to meet varied student needs within the high school caseload
- Collaborate with other educators, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate and timely records of progress, attendance, and other essential data
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required by the contract and school
