Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners through your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This rewarding onsite opportunity involves working with Pre-K through Grade 2 students, supporting their communication skills and academic growth in a dynamic school environment near Nantucket, MA. You'll play an essential role in empowering students to overcome challenges and build confidence.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with educators and families, providing group and individualized speech and language interventions, assessing student progress, and maintaining timely documentation. The caseload consists of 41 students, allowing for focused and impactful engagement each day.
Preferred Background and Experience:
- Current MA Speech Language Pathologist License
- Experience supporting Pre-K through second-grade students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery models
- Dedication to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to assigned students, both in group and one-on-one settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to foster student success
- Document services provided and student progress according to school protocols
- Participate in eligibility meetings, develop IEP goals, and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
