Facilities Technician II
Location: Westborough, MA
Duration: 9 Months
Type: Contract- 6 months + Possible extension
Start: ASAP
Pay range: $20- $22
Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Technician II with strong hands-on troubleshooting and technical skills to support manufacturing operations. This role focuses on equipment troubleshooting, hardware inspections, first-article builds, repairs, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment, installations, and manufacturing products.
- Perform root-cause analysis and fault finding.
- Assemble first-article builds, test fixtures, racks, and wiring.
- Conduct hardware inspections and document findings.
- Maintain and update SOPs.
- Collaborate with engineering on test setups and process improvements.
- Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
- Hands-on troubleshooting, repair, assembly, or maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Ability to read technical documentation and follow SOPs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for 7+ hours per shift.
- Manufacturing, production, maintenance, or engineering technician experience preferred.
