Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that encourage connection, sharing, and peer support among young adult clients.

  • Individual Counseling: Provide personalized therapy sessions, focusing on exploring clients' thoughts and feelings, while guiding them to develop effective coping strategies.

  • Treatment Planning: Collaboratively create individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, incorporating their goals into actionable steps.

  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, regularly review treatment outcomes, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure positive results.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and coordinating care to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve young adults aged 18 to 30 within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often presents with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Your expertise and compassionate approach will empower clients as they work toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's Degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • \n

  • Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Massachusetts.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with young adults.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience working with young adult populations, particularly in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
