Step into a fulfilling contract position as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students' growth and independence in a school-based environment. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, across several school sites in the area. Your expertise will help make a daily difference in the lives of children and educators.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current COTA certification and appropriate state licensure
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices for diverse student populations
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various school settings
  • Prior experience in educational settings preferred, but dedicated new graduates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in the development and implementation of intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Carry out therapeutic activities in both classroom and one-on-one settings
  • Collect data, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service personnel
  • Travel between multiple school locations as scheduled
