Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift Length: 12 hours

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room to provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergency conditions. The RN will assess patients, prioritize care based on acuity, administer treatments and medications, and work closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid and comprehensive assessments of patients upon arrival.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, neurological status, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
• Provide emergency interventions and assist physicians with procedures.
• Care for patients with medical, surgical, traumatic, and other acute conditions.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Perform and assist with wound care, splinting, specimen collection, and other emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, EMS, laboratory, radiology, and other departments.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Recent Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
