Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company is actively recruiting for a temporary, Paralegal/Contracts Administrator for a 6 - 12 month contract opportunity with a law firm client in Boston, MA.


Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday through Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday)
Hours: Approximately 30-40 hours per week
Start: ASAP, 6-12 Month Contract
Status: W2 contract


Position Overview

As part of a small legal team, the temporary, Paralegal/Contracts Administrator will support a broad range of legal and contract-related activities, partnering closely with legal, operations, project teams, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong contract administration experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to key business initiatives by supporting contract lifecycle management, legal operations, compliance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including drafting, reviewing, coordinating approvals, executing, tracking, and maintaining contract documentation.
  • Support day-to-day legal operations by assisting with workflow management, document preparation, regulatory compliance activities, and internal legal initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, consultants, investors, and outside counsel to facilitate contract execution and project-related legal requirements.
  • Draft and revise standard legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, amendments, change orders, and other template-based agreements.
  • Review project and permitting documentation to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and compliance concerns before submission.
  • Coordinate internal review and approval processes to ensure agreements satisfy corporate policies, governance requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor contractual insurance obligations and maintain records demonstrating vendor and subcontractor compliance.
  • Maintain organized and accurate legal records within contract management platforms and document management systems.
  • Enter, validate, and update contract data to ensure timely reporting and effective document tracking.
  • Manage legal correspondence, notices, approvals, and requests, ensuring documentation is properly routed, tracked, and archived.
  • Assist with contract closeout activities by confirming completion of required documentation and distribution of final records to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare status reports, metrics, and summaries related to legal projects, contract activity, and stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support to the legal department as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • 3-5 years of paralegal experience with a strong emphasis on contract administration and legal operations support.
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems or similar contract management platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Paralegal Certificate.
  • Contract management or contract law certification, such as NCMA or similar accredited credentials.
  • Prior experience supporting organizations within residential real estate development, construction, environmental services, architecture, or engineering sectors.
  • Familiarity with contract management solutions such as CobbleStone, SAP Ariba, Conga, or comparable platforms.
