Job Description

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

Perform in-process and final weld inspections in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
Develop detailed weld maps using internal layouts and customer-supplied drawings
Weld inspection reports such as: itemized weld joints and seams, material and filler certifications
Welder certifications and activity reports
WPS and PQR documentation
Inspection dates and third-party test reports
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including AWS and ASME standards

Qualifications:

CWI Certification (AWS QC1 required)
Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.6, B2.1, A2.4, ASME Section IX, AGS-G006
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD experience would be a plus

Hours are

Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm

Salary $48 an hour based on experience
