Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Review blueprints , plans, and project documentation to understand project scope</li>
<li>Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and construction components</li>
<li>Prepare accurate cost projections including labor, materials, and subcontractor work</li>
<li>Solicit and review proposals from trade partners and suppliers</li>
<li>Assemble comprehensive estimate packages and client proposal documents</li>
<li>Identify project requirements and potential cost considerations</li>
<li>Work closely with management, clients, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase</li>
<li>Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records</li>
<li>Occasionally visit potential project sites to support project evaluation</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2+ years of construction estimating experience</li>
<li>Experience supporting residential and/or commercial construction projects</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications</li>
<li>Strong understanding of construction methods and building processes</li>
<li>Excellent mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills</li>
<li>Strong communication and coordination abilities</li>
<li>Proficiency with computers and construction-related software tools</li>
