Qualifications:

  • Active Paraprofessional credential or certification (required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptability, patience, and a genuine passion for student success
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and individualized student support
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups, following plans established by instructional staff
  • Manage classroom materials, supervise students, and foster an inclusive, positive environment
  • Help implement accommodations as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies and procedures
  • Adapt to the needs of various students throughout the school day

This position begins in September 2026 and extends through the end of the school year, with full-time hours, providing consistency for you and the students you’ll support. The number of students in your caseload will be discussed based on current needs within the district and will be tailored for manageable, meaningful engagement.
