About the Role:

As a Director of Rehabilitation (Physical Therapist) with Allaire Health Services, you will be responsible for leading the rehabilitation team at our St Johnsbury, VT facility, providing exceptional patient care, and driving clinical excellence. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will oversee the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, ensuring high-quality care that meets the needs of our patients and exceeds industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the rehabilitation team, providing guidance and support to physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and rehabilitation assistants

• Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs, including goal setting, treatment planning, and outcome measurement

• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individualized interventions to achieve optimal functional outcomes

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure interdisciplinary care and efficient communication

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis and continuous quality improvement activities

• Stay current with research and best practices in physical therapy, incorporating evidence-based practices into clinical decisions

• Supervise students and new staff, providing mentorship and training as needed

• Manage the rehabilitation department's budget, including allocation of resources and tracking expenses

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Hampshire

• Minimum 2 years of experience in rehabilitation settings, with a focus on long-term care and subacute rehabilitation

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of healthcare professionals

• Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess, treat, and document patient outcomes

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
