Job Title: Service – Lab Computing Analyst

Location: Cambridge, MA(Onsite)

\n

Work Type: Onsite laboratory support

\n

Duration: 6+Months (with possible extension)

\n

Client: Pharma*

\n

Role Overview:

\n

The candidate will support two main projects:

\n

\n
1. Windows Upgrade Project – upgrading laboratory computers to Windows 11, imaging machines, and troubleshooting systems.

\n

2. Asset Management – tracking, maintaining, documenting, and replacing laboratory IT equipment.

\n

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Upgrade computers and laboratory systems to Windows 11.

\n

• Perform computer imaging and Windows installations/upgrades.

\n

• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.

\n

• Install, replace, upgrade, and maintain computer equipment and related machinery.

\n

• Provide technical support for laboratory instruments and equipment.

\n

• Work with vendors for equipment/service-related issues.

\n

• Track and manage IT/laboratory assets.

\n

• Maintain accurate equipment and service documentation.

\n

• Use tools such as ServiceNow and Jira for tickets, tracking, and documentation.

\n

• Support technical issues in a complex laboratory environment.

\n

\n

MUST-HAVE Skills:

\n

\n
1. Hands-on Windows 11 experience – Mandatory

\n

2. Experience with Windows upgrade projects

\n

3. Experience with computer imaging

\n

4. Hardware and software troubleshooting

\n

5. Good documentation and asset-tracking skills

\n

\n

\n

Highly Preferred:

\n

\n
• ServiceNow

\n

• Jira

\n

• Asset management/tracking

\n

• Documentation management

\n

• Experience supporting laboratory instruments

\n

• Vendor coordination

\n

• Pharmaceutical industry experience

\n

\n

Education:

\n

\n
• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory.

\n
