\n Three years of adult, adolescent, and geriatric inpatient psych experience required
\n Must be willing to float and take charge. (No multiplier for charge)

\n Responsibilities:
\n The
\n Registered Nurse (RN) is an active participant in the health care team who
\n provides direct and indirect care to patients/families/legal guardians. The
\n Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu
\n grounded in TaraVista Behavioral Health Center core principles. The Registered
\n Nurse (RN) works collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary
\n treatment team and contributes to each patient’s individual treatment plan by
\n helping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions,
\n informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems.
\n Qualifications:
\n Education: RN license within the State of Massachusetts required; BSN
\n preferred.
\n Experience:
\n Previous psychiatric / substance inpatient experience
\n Required. CPR certification required. Restraint Reduction de-escalation /
\n crisis intervention experience preferred.
\n Skills: The
\n successful candidate will demonstrate ability to use critical thinking to make
\n decisions and solve problems; have an advanced level knowledge of Behavior
\n Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities; applies nursing process from a
\n Trauma Informed Recovery model of care; ability to develop a therapeutic
\n relationship while maintaining professional boundaries; effective oral and
\n written communication; sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use
\n of Electronic Medical Record; crisis management, time management, delegating,
\n coaching and team building skills; and be flexible, creative and able to manage
\n stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner
