Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary-aged students by providing essential occupational therapy services in a welcoming school environment near Peterborough, NH. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, and offers a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week. You’ll be based in a single elementary school, allowing you to build strong relationships and consistency with students and educational teams.

Responsibilities:

Conduct student assessments to evaluate functional physical development and self-regulation, ensuring each child finds firm footing for success.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with student needs and learning objectives.
Collaborate with educators and families to create equitable opportunities, supporting appropriate student placements.
Identify and help remove environmental barriers in the classroom, recommending practical solutions for accessibility and participation.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports, upholding ethical standards and compliance with state and federal requirements.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapy licensure in New Hampshire
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt plans and strategies to meet diverse student needs
